2008-2009 Season Information |
Hershey Jr. Bears and Central Penn Panthers have come to an
agreement to allow the Hershey Jr. Bears to purchase the
Associate Membership for the Tier I Youth Program in the
Atlantic Youth Hockey League. Hershey Jr. Bears will own
and manage all the Youth levels in Tier I from Squirt
minor/major through Midget minor. |
HERSHEY JR. BEARS PHILOSOPHY |
The Hershey Jr. Bears organization strives to encourage the
enjoyment and growth of amateur hockey in our geographical
area. We welcome all children 18 years of age and younger
to become members of the Hershey Jr. Bears and participate
in our programs. |
HERSHEY JR. BEARS TRAVEL TEAMS POLICY STATEMENT |
In our travel program, the Hershey Jr. Bears endeavor to
develop the skill of “teamwork”. The goal is to win and
develop at each level of competition. Therefore some
participants may sacrifice ice time in certain game
situations. If such a sacrifice is made by a player, our
coaches will endeavor to reward this sacrifice with greater
ice time in other game situations. This is not a guarantee
of “equal ice time” for all team members, in any game,
tournament or throughout the season. This is a
philosophical statement of how the Hershey Organization will
endeavor to operate its travel team program. |
